Last week of term!

May 28, 2021

What a wonderful last week we have had! As always, Year 2 have blown us away with their inspiring passion for learning. We have been doing booklets in Maths and English this week. We would like to congratulate all of Year 2 on their hard work on these!

This week in English, we have also been exploring description and working on developing our writing skills. There has been a focus on handwriting this week and Year 2 have risen to the challenge brilliantly! We cannot wait to see this continue next half term.

This week in Maths, we have been playing a variety of Maths games to help us solidify our skills.

This week in Topic, we have been exploring Islam in RE. We have been discussing what it means to belong and thinking about what is important and special to us. We have been using this to discuss the importance of religion to Muslims. We have focused on the importance of prayer and the fundamentals of Islam. The children have loved learning about different religions! We have also taught SRE, focusing on naming body parts.

Attached are some sheets for you to use if you wish – Summer Week 7 Sheets
