Mrs Catherine Badesha – I am very excited to be part of the UCPS community and to work with you all. I completed my degree and started teaching in 2009, in Hertfordshire before moving to the UAE in 2012 and teaching in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Whilst in Abu Dhabi, I was also the Head Of Year in an international all-through school. In 2018, I moved back and became Assistant Headteacher of a school in Luton before becoming a Deputy Headteacher in Stevenage.
During my 6 years abroad, I travelled to many amazing places and learnt so much about other cultures and got to experience different places. I am very lucky to have lots of friends around the world that I met whilst travelling.
I have a little daughter who keeps me on toes. My hobbies include photography, crafting and decorating my home.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all and working hard to provide the very best for all the children.
