What is the meaning of Christmas?
These last few weeks, we have been thinking about this, asking our own questions that think about others, and learning the Story of the Nativity. We look forward to seeing Reception classes performance next week. We have also been in full swing of rehearsals for our Festival of Lights performance next Monday. We hope you were able to get tickets to come and see us (9-10 am and 2-3 pm).
A big congratulations to our budding instrumentalists who performed their music pieces to an impressed audience on Thursday. And a big thank you to all the parents who came to Family Friday, helping us to review our learning, celebrate how far we’ve come already, and think together about where we need to go next.
Have a lovely weekend and make sure to wrap up warm to protect yourself and your voices for our concert on Monday!
Message from PE Leader, Mr Drane
Although temperatures drop at this time of year, P.E will still take place both inside and outside as much as possible. Please could we ask that children come into school with the appropriate P.E kit so that they can get the best out of their sessions. The school P.E kit is listed at the bottom of this document. It might also be useful for children to wear tracksuit bottoms in these colder months. It would be fantastic to see everyone wearing the correct kit and footwear to start 2018 how we mean to go on: exercising! Thank you for your support.
A reminder to sign up for Parent View where you can give your views about the school and help us to continually improve and celebrate what we do well. Once logged in, there are 12 quick statements – you are then asked whether you agree or disagree. This can be done at any time throughout the year.
